Based in Wichita Falls, Texas and after a lifestyle change toward better nutrition and exercise habits, she became fascinated by the transformative power of food heeded a calling to pursue a second career as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She considers it her responsibility to provide the tools and knowledge to empower people to make actionable changes, with the goal of accessing the body's innate ability to heal from within. She wholeheartedly believes that a holistic, patient-centered approach will rechart the course of how medicine is practiced. She is passionate about using food as medicine in the fight against the burden of chronic disease to help people thrive, not merely survive. Prior to entering the nutrition space, she earned degrees in English literature and worked in the book publishing industry. With a commitment to lifelong learning, she is enrolled in the Institute for Functional Medicine’s Certified Practitioner program to expand her knowledge as a dietitian in integrative and functional approaches to health.
