Christie is a board-certified Clinical Nutrition Specialist (CNS), earning her MS in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and interning with The Nutrition and Herbal Collective. Christie’s passion for food and nutrition began long before her formal education as she spent years as a chef in the health food industry and loved to dabble in herbology and gardening. Christie has always believed that food is the foundation of our wellness. She brings a holistic perspective and optimism to her nutrition counseling, emphasizing lifestyle and mental health along with good eating habits. Prior to working at Nutrisense, Christie worked in private practice with a variety of client concerns, including autoimmune disorders, metabolic dysfunction, weight loss, anxiety/depression, and digestive health. Christie also loves to talk about food politics and the social determinants of food. She enjoys living in the beautiful southern hills of Indiana with her husband, teenage son, and Aussiedoodle.
