I grew up in Indiana and became interested in nutrition and alternative medicine at an early age after watching loved ones suffer from preventable chronic diseases. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Ball State University in 2016. I completed my dietetic internship in 2018 and earned my Master's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2019 from Ball State University. During my graduate studies I completed thesis research regarding the use of ketogenic diets for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, and this quickly became an area of interest for me in the field of nutrition. Since earning my RD credential I have worked as a nutritionist for the Ball State University employee wellness program teaching community wellness and diabetes prevention classes. Most recently, I worked as an outpatient clinical dietitian in a large family medicine practice treating patients with a number of chronic conditions. There I also worked as part of a multidisciplinary team specializing in the prevention and management of Type 2 Diabetes. I fully believe in food as medicine and have a passion for helping people find a unique nutrition approach to reach their health and wellness goals.
